Chemical peeling is a dermocosmetic application, its purpose is to stimulate regeneration in the different layers of skin using the peeling chemical agent. Peeling destroys the outer layers of the skin. The goal is to stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and GAG (glycosamine glycane). Therefore it will increase the mechanical and physiological properties of the skin.

Classification

Chemical peelings are classified at 4 levels based on the structure and degree of lesions to be treated according to the depth effects.

THE MOST SUPERFICIAL (SUPERFICIAL STRATUM CORNEUM)

It ensures the integrity of the skin tone, resulting in a more radiant skin.

SUPERFICIAL (FROM EPIDERMIS TO BASAL LAYER)

The stratum destroys the corneum, stimulating the development of the epidermis.

It causes the skin to flake.

MEDIUM (PAPILLER DERMIS)

Medium peels affect the papillary dermis, causing the skin to flake and create inflammation of the dermis.

It destroys the entire epidermis until the skin completely regenerates itself.

DEEP (RETICULAR DERMIS)

Reticular is a deep chemical peeling agent that creates inflammation in the dermis.

Collagen and elastin stimulate the restructuring of fibers.
