Chemical Peeling

It is the application of some chemical solutions to revitalize, rejuvenate and improve the appearance of the skin. In this treatment, a chemical acid is applied to the skin that causes the superficial layers to be separated and peeled. Although there are many chemical peeling agents, the most frequently used ones are glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), trichloroacetic acid (TCA), salicylic acid, jesner solution and combinations.

Wrinkles formed by burns and hereditary factors on the skin, sun and age-related spots, liver spots, freckles, liver redness with cancer potential or dark spots on the face, hormonal or pregnancy spots called melasma can be corrected. It helps to heal acne. After peeling on the skin comes new skin. The texture and color of the newly arrived skin is smoother and more homogeneous.

An acid solution can be applied to the face, neck, chest, hands and arms according to the choice of the doctor and the condition of the patient’s skin. After the skin is removed, it is applied to the treatment area. Mild burning and stinging may occur for 5-10 minutes during the process. Normal daily life can be returned immediately after the procedure. it may take several sessions to achieve the desired results.
