WHAT IS CHEST AND ABDOMINAL WALL RECONSTRUCTION?
Tissue deficiencies on the anterior walls of the chest and abdomen are frequently caused by trauma and tumor resection. Other etiological factors include congenital defects, infection and radiation necrosis. Regional muscle and muscle-skin flaps are generally preferred for chest and abdominal anterior wall reconstructions.
