Fat Injection

WHAT IS FAT INJECTION ?
Fat injection is the transfer of fats from a portion of the body that has excess fat tissue by needles to the area where it is needed by processing. With this method, it can be applied to any area in the body that is needed. With this method, it is possible to plump, reduce wrinkles, correct contour, and achieve rejuvenation of the skin.

WHAT ARE THE REASONS FOR THE CHANGES DUE TO AGING ON THE FACE ?
As the time passes by, the humidity of the facial skin decreases. The vascular nourishment of the skin weakens and the skin color fades. On account of sun, cigarettes, stress, bad weather conditions, unbalanced nutrition, inadequate skin care, the bright and radiant appearance of the skin changes over time and wrinkles and spots become clearer and the skin becomes pale. Excessive use of mimic muscles causes the facial lines to appear early. In addition, especially the cheekbone, the skin around the eyes with the loss of volume of subcutaneous adipose tissue, as well as the erosion of facial bones causes aging and saggyness on the face. The network suspension of the soft facial tissues and relaxation of the platysma muscles also cause sagging in the cheeks and larynx area. All these factors cause the facial shadows to increase, causing the face to appear wrinkled, sagging and old.

WHAT ARE THE AREAS FOR THE APPLICATION ?
Fat injection can be applied to any area where is needed in the body. In practice, it can also applied in combination with face lifting and other operations in order to plump the lips and the cheeks especially in weak people, to fill the areas (nasolabial sulcus) from the edge of the nose to the lips, to highlight the cheekbone and pogonion, to smooth out the wrinkles between the forehead and eyebrows, to eliminate all kinds of collapses and irregularities on the face, curvature of the legs, breast asymmetries, to fill hollow areas formed after liposuction surgery, to rejuvenate back of the hand which are almost wholly concentrating on the face area.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR THE APPLICATION ?
For fat injection, fat cells are taken through thin cannulas from areas with excess, such as abdomen and hip. During degreasing, 3-4 mm incisions are entered and then an unspecified scar remains. There is also some thinning in the areas where the fat is taken out. If your excesses are low, you may have shot two birds with one stone. However, the main goal is to obtain dense fat grafts from the stem cell. The resulting fat is injected into the desired area with appropriate cannula-needles. Roughly, it is not wrong to say that at least 50% of fat grafts remain according to the applied area. It is an advantage that the concerned fat contains dense stem cells, has one’s own tissue and can be obtained more than preshaped filling for large areas. The excess fat taken out during the process can be stored and then given to the necessary areas only by injection without the process of degreasing. The disadvantage of this process is that the fat is melted to a certain extent.
