WHAT IS LD FLAP?
The defect that occurs after partial mastectomy is filled with the patient’s own tissue from the area away from the breast.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR APPLICATION ?
It is applied in patients with high tumor/breast volume and insufficient breast volume after resection or with significant breast defects. In this technique, the skin is not carried. It is often used for defects in the upper, inner and lower quadrants of the breast.

Endoscopic LD mini flap applications made by entering the breast and axillary are also being developed.
