Fractional Laser

Although many methods have been used in wound, burn, cut, acne scars, facial and neck wrinkles, skin rejuvenation and crack treatment, laser treatment has come to the fore in recent years. Fractional Laser is one of the most effective lasers used.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR APPLICATION ?
With fractional laser beams, the temperature of the skin is increased and evaporation is achieved and the top layer of the skin is peeled. With fractional laser technology, laser beams are infiltrated into problem area and a large number of stimulations are sent to the micron-diameter skin. Healing occurs when undamaged cells around the laser-applied area multiply, stimulate fibroblasts and ultimately trigger collagen synthesis. As a result, skin regeneration, tightening of pores, a great reduction in the marks and spots on the skin and improvement in the overall appearance of the skin are noticed.

Mild burning as well as pricking may occur during fractional laser treatment. The number of sessions is arranged to be an average of 2-6 sessions every 4-6 weeks depending on the severity of the current situation and the depth of application. There may be a redness on the skin which will last several days after application. The patient should avoid sun exposure, tanning, light-sensitive drugs (isotretinoin, tetracyclines, quinozones..), applications that irritate the skin (such as peeling). The patient should apply cold compresses, use sunscreen, and care with antibiotic and epithelian creams and moisturizers in order to reduce edema and redness after the procedure.

WHAT ARE THE AREAS FOR APPLICATION ?
This is applied to the entire body area.
