WHAT IS ORTHOGRAPHIC SURGERY?
In patients over the age of 18, interventions performed to correct a wide range of skeletal and dental irregularities is called Orthognathic surgery. While the patient’s appearance may be dramatically enhanced as a result of their surgery, orthognathic surgery is performed to correct functional problems.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR APPLICATION ?
Orthognathic surgery can sometimes be applied as a supportive or to shorten the duration of orthognathic treatment in order to achieve more successful results in the long term. The first step in orthognatic surgery is to apply for orthodontic treatment to ensure that the teeth are positioned appropriately to the chin. Then, while orthodontic treatment is ongoing, surgery is provided to make the upper and lower jaw suitable for each other and face.
