WHAT IS DERMABRASION ?
Dermabrasion is the process that uses a rotating instrument to remove the outer layers of skin, usually on the face. Dermabrasion is used for reducing scar, smoothing out wrinkles, treating sunspots and removing tattoos.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR APPLICATION?
The operation is performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on the width of the area where dermabrasion will be applied. When surgery is performed under local anesthesia with sedation , the person can return home on the same day. In this case, nothing will be felt during the operation, but as soon as it is finished, the person will be able to return to their normal life. If no additional surgery is performed when surgery is performed under general anesthesia, the person may return home on the same day or the next day. The patient should be protected from the sun and should use wound healing ointment during the 1-week recovery period after surgery.
